Liza Sherrer – Regional Disposal Coordinator

During her nearly three-decade-long career in waste management, Liza Sherrer has worked as a field chemist, project manager and senior project manager. She’s done everything from operating equipment to managing multi-disciplined emergency response field crews.

Liza has solid experience in chemical waste management, chemical ID, lab packing, waste stream identification & profiling, 90-day hazardous waste storage facility management, industrial environmental maintenance, and hazardous waste transport & disposal. She’s personally overseen, cradle-to-grave, thousands of tons of hazardous waste in her career — ensuring efficient and safe management, transport & disposal.

Liza has served in various capacities at industrial facilities throughout the Southeast — including US Steel Co., Norfolk Southern Railroad, US Pipe and others. She’s also served as project manager for numerous Federal Government clean-up sites, including work with USACE Mobile (Tuscaloosa,) USACE Memphis — as well as the US Army, Navy, Air Force and the EPA.
