One Stop Environmental
One Stop Environmental was founded as an emergency response company in 1999, and has been providing disaster relief and debris management ever since. Our company services areas throughout the Southeast United States.
Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief
In 2005, Hurricane Katrina caused catastrophic damage across Louisiana and parts of Florida. One Stop Environmental was on-scene of the aftermath to provide cleanup and transportation services. We worked with St. Bernard Parish and the US Department of Agriculture Debris to segregate, transport and dispose of debris in New Orleans. Our team handled vegetation, C&D, white foods, small motorized equipment, e-waste, asbestos containing watering (ACM), and household hazardous waste (HHW). We kept the debris stream highly segregated to maximize recycling efforts and to ensure ineligible debris did not end up in landfills. All in all, millions of cubic yards of debris were removed and thousands of hours were worked.
Alabama and Missouri were struck by a series of tornados in 2009. OSE simultaneously operated 9 different sites in Alabama, performing asbestos debris segregation, hauling and disposal, and debris removal. We deployed one team to Joplin, MO who worked tirelessly to segregate, transport and dispose of storm related debris.
One Stop Environmental has a team of experienced technicians who are trained to deal with complex debris streams. Our Disaster relief team is primarily composed of asbestos abatement workers, supervisors, and project managers. This level of expertise, paired with our rapid response time, makes OSE the optimal choice for professional disaster relief services.
