Equipment Operator/ CDL Driver

About the Job:
An equipment operator on our team is responsible for operating a vacuum truck and straight trucks. Individual must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting items up to 50 lbs. unassisted, maneuvering 55 gallon drums using hand truck or truck dolly, maneuvering 15 gallon drums by hand, bending, standing, and climbing.

Requirements:
At least 22 years of age
Some travel
No drug or alcohol related offenses in the last five years and no more than one before that
No previous felony convictions
Must hold a U.S. driver’s license for at least a year
Must have a U.S. residential address
Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening
Must have experience working with hazardous waste, material labeling per DOT standards, and transport.
Class “B” CDL License
Must medically qualify to wear a respirator

 

About the Job:
Technicians in our industrial division must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting 50 lbs. unassisted, maneuvering 55 gallon drums using hand truck or drum dolly, maneuvering 15 gallon drums by hand, bending, standing and climbing.

Requirements:
40 hour Hazmat course
1-2 years’ experience in hazmat operations
Confined space training
CPR training
Current Hazmat physical
Must medically qualify to wear a respirator.

Asbestos Abatement Worker

About the Job:
We are always looking to add hard working, motivated and responsible abatement workers to our team. Applicants who are up to date with accredited asbestos abatement training course are preferred. We are looking for individuals who have experience with the tools, materials, and methods utilized in asbestos removal and abatement.

Requirements:
Prefer applicant to possess a valid driver’s license.
Can read, apply, and explain rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Must be able to pass a complete medical examination potentially including a full chest x-ray and pulmonary function test at the time of employment. Will be required to wear a negative pressure respirator and personal protective equipment during asbestos abatement activities.
Must possess the ability to: Observe needed and completed repairs/Work at heights/Climb ladders/Reach and lift overhead and horizontally/Stand for extended periods of time/Lift heavy objects/Bend, kneel or crouch.
Lead Abatement Worker accreditation is a plus.
Confined Space certification is a plus.
Must pass E-Verify requirements prior to employment at Ambipar Response OSE.
Potential Working Conditions:

Indoor and outdoor work environments.
Noise from equipment operation.
Regular exposure to fumes, dust, asbestos, lead, heavy metals, mold, dirt and oil/grease.
Seasonal heat and cold or adverse weather conditions.
Working in a cramped or restrictive work space.
Working with power saws and flying debris.
Working at heights on ladders, man lifts or scaffolding.
Hourly compensation for this position is negotiable depending on experience.

Abatement Supervisor

About the Job:
Individuals interested in joining our team as an asbestos supervisor must place great value on health and safety, possess superior management skills, and be up to date with accredited asbestos supervisory abatement training / or an experienced worker willing to be trained. This position requires a High School Diploma or GED and we prefer applicant to possess a valid driver’s license. Applicants should have experience with the tools, materials, and methods utilized in asbestos removal and abatement. They should also be able to read, apply, and explain rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Before employment with OSE individuals must be able to pass a complete medical examination potentially including a full chest x-ray and pulmonary function test and E-Verify requirements. Abatement employees will be required to wear a negative pressure respirator and personal protective equipment during asbestos abatement activities. Additional job requirements include the ability to observe needed and completed repairs, work at heights, climb ladders, reach and lift overhead and horizontally, stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects, and bend, kneel or crouch. A candidate with Lead Abatement Worker accreditation is a plus and/or Confined Space certification will be given priority.
