Center Point, AL
Following the tornadoes that struck Jefferson County, Alabama on January 23, 2012, Alabama Power Company called on One Stop to perform environmental remediation and hazardous waste transport for PCB impacted sites throughout the county.
One Stop mobilized three cleanup teams of HAZWOPER technicians and heavy equipment operators to perform these tasks. In less than two weeks, 12 OSE team members safely removed and disposed of 50 downed transformers in the Center Point community and excavated, profiled, transported and disposed of many yards of contaminated soil.
