Fortune Magazine and the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City ranked Birmingham-based One Stop Environmental LLC No. 41 on its list of fast growing inner city companies in the U.S.
The Inner City 100 list is made up of companies with at least 51 percent of their operations located in urban areas that are economically distressed and an increase in year-over-year sales in the most recent year of a five year period, among other metrics.
One Stop Environmental’s annual revenue growth is 32 percent, and was $12 million in 2011. The company works with clients such as the U.S. Department of Defense.
Shannon Riley is CEO of One Stop Environmental, which was the No. 12 women-owned Business in Birmingham this year and the No. 82 largest private company in Birmingham according to the BBJ’s 2013 Book of Lists.
