(BIRMINGHAM, AL) One Stop Environmental, LLC, a woman owned environmental consulting and action firm located in Birmingham, AL recently entered the United States Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 8(a) Business Development program. The 8(a) program was developed in 1968, and is intended to help small businesses build successful foundations and assist government contracting offices with their procurement quotas. Since the inception of the 8(a) program, there have been more than 542,000 8(a) contract actions, worth approximately $88.4 billion.
