Emergency Tornado Response in Alabama

In 2011, Ambipar Response OSE launched a massive recovery effort throughout the state of Alabama following the devastating tornados of April 27th. OSE mobilized over 70 asbestos workers, HAZWOPER technicians and heavy equipment operators throughout the state to perform debris management, segregation and transportation for the US Army Corps of Engineers and their contractors.

Tornado Debris Management

OSE worked over 100,000 man hours without a lost-time incident, and segregated/transported hundreds of thousands of pounds of hazardous and non-hazardous debris. OSE had multiple crews working at multiple locations throughout the state of Alabama. We were continuously praised by our client for our excellent work, consistent production and our ability to adapt to continuously changing in-field conditions. OSE led daily safety briefings for all workers on site and also trained USACE/prime contractor employees on certain jobsite safety and production issues.
