Waste Characterization & Cleanup

Ambipar Response OSE has handled waste characterization and sampling, site characterization, waste cleanup and regulatory agency communication for Norfolk Southern Railroad in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Louisiana. Under this contract OSE is required to manage a large variety of hazardous and non hazardous waste streams including petroleum, VOC’s, chlorine, acids, basics, poison, toxics, exotics, asbestos, lead, cadmium, etc. OSE spends time and resources training its staff to a high level of environmental and chemical knowledge.

In addition to these responsibilities, OSE also prepares a wide variety of local, state, and federal documents for the client. Cleanup requires notifications, manifests, bills of lading, waste profiles, etc. that are all prepared by our personnel. OSE also deploys teams to measure rainwater runoff and take samples/ perform analysis after large rain events.
