James Kling graduated from Samford University in 2002 with a degree in business management. He joined One Stop in 2004 after working as a logistics and construction contractor for the US Army in Iraq. There he oversaw construction of a 75,000 square foot dining facility while managing an existing facility that served over 14,000 meals a day to US Troops. As Federal Programs Director for One Stop, he manages federal business development activities and project execution in the environmental, construction, energy and IT sectors. He has experience obtaining and managing ID/IQ contract vehicles worth hundreds of millions of dollars as well as facility specific, event contracts scattered throughout the nation. He currently runs programs for USACE, AEC, US Navy, GSA, USDOJ and US Army.
James is an active member of the Birmingham community and sits on the board of directors of Cornerstone Schools of Alabama in Woodlawn and Crestwood Day School in Birmingham. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Society of American Military Engineers in Huntsville, AL.
