One Stop Disaster Relief Team
One Stop Environmental has provided disaster relief and debris management services since we were founded in 1999. In the aftermath of 2005 Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in and around New Orleans, OSE worked for St Bernard Parish and the US Department of Agriculture Debris to segregate and transport and dispose of debris including vegetative, C&D, white goods, small motorized equipment, e-waste, asbestos containing materials (ACM), and household hazardous waste (HHW). One Stop kept the debris stream highly segregated to keep ineligible debris out of landfills and to maximize recycling efforts. All in all, millions of cubic yards of debris were removed and thousands of man-hours were worked.
One Stop Environmental Tornado Response Experience
In 2011 OSE responded to the series of tornados that struck Alabama and Missouri. In Alabama we simultaneously operated 9 different sites performing asbestos debris segregation, hauling and disposal and debris removal. In Joplin, MO we deployed one team who worked tirelessly to segregate, transport and dispose of storm related debris.
